Purpose of Job: Manage sales of assigned applications accordance with BU/BS Strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Compile/Update/Report Market database of responsible applications to line mgrs.
  • Manage assigned accounts (Rolling 18 months Sales Forecast and business plan for following 2 years)
  • Report market trends; identify new potentials; coordinate product launch.
  • Manage and execute assigned customer interactions; provide interaction report/feedback; manage sales forecast.
  • Manage technical/commercial offering; negotiate / revise offering; close deal.
  • Manage and conduct value based selling.
  • Manage and collect customer survey; propose solution of unmet needs of customers.
  • Manage and collect payments.
  • Manage and handle feedback/claims from customers (QNS).
  • Manage and execute annual Sales KPIs (Sales; Margin; Trade Receivable;Credit; NWC etc.).
  • Manage and execute assigned projects
  • Report business status and proposals to line manager(s) in regular basis.
  • Leverage the resource / relationship / knowledge out of segment and region.
  • Actively participate BS/BU/ Corp. project(s).
  • Adapt Clariant Corporate Values

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above; Technical, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing in chemical industry; knowledge of catalyst product(s), styrene is preferred
  • Rich commercial and negotiation skills; Good communication skills of cross regions and cultures.
  • Balanced sense of commercial aspects, marketing and technology. Capacible in English communication.
