Mackenzie Stuart is partnering with a global speciality manufacturer specialising in the Food and and Beverage Ingredients sector. Looking to replace a Retiree in the EU market, this organisation is in need of a Sales Manager, Dairy - DACH.

This lead position is requiring the ideal candidate to deliver performance against sales targets to manage top & bottom-line contribution of Dairy Application category in DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland)

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales related activities in the DACH region.
  • Deliver business growth in line with strategic & operational growth plans
  • Focused interaction with strategic & partner accounts and Hi-Potentials
  • Align Pull & Push activities with key counterparts in Development, Marketing and business development to sustain long-term growth ability
  • Deliver a high touch technical consultancy experience to customers and prospect to differentiate from competition
  • Efficient project management with counterparts in development to maximize return on investments and create value added tailored solutions
  • Create, manage and deliver opportunity pipeline with direct reports in-line with business growth expectations
  • Partner with category sales leads to enable strongest synergies possible & aligned account plans for joint accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science / Technology or another related technical field or alternatively long term practical experience with exposure in relevant requirements
  • Strong technical understanding of functional food ingredients, their interaction, food manufacturing processes and food recipe design
  • Strong experience and capabilities in Value Selling / Specialities, or Technical Service / Sales roles
  • Proficient in English and German both written and spoken
