There is an exciting opportunity to progress your career into an EMEA Breast Sales Manager role!
You will be responsible for the sale of BD’s innovative Breast portfolio in EMEA. This portfolio is part of BD’s long-term needle-movers.
Your mission will be to achieve the quantitative and qualitative objectives of the Breast platform, ensure a successful launch in reconstructive breast surgery and develop the aesthetic plastic surgery market.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated sales team in EMEA, contributing to their personal development and encouraging relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
You will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of sales projects and contribute to key initiatives, forecasting and budgeting.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead, support and mentor a sales team in EMEA
  • Continually empower, develop, grow, and retain the talent base on the team through effective performance and development strategies
  • Contribute to forecast and budget
  • Ensure Salesforce.com is utilized as the system of record for information related to account capture and track new business development activities
  • Mentor the sales team on the stages of the sales cycle, reviewing customer needs, and priorities
  • Identify and implement training needs (e.g., BD way of selling, SFDC)
  • Develop with the sales team a commercial plan per country: account mapping and prioritization, objectives, stakeholder targeting and strategy, action plan, follow-up according to the "BD Way of Selling" process. Prioritize certain tasks and opportunities, allocate the right resources to the right place
  • Support the sales team on local go to market strategy (e.g., tender, GPOs) and sales tactics. Work collaboratively with local BD counterparts
  • Ensure the implementation of tactics, messages, and value propositions developed by marketing
  • Develop positive relationships with key opinion leaders and key customers in the Breast space in EMEA
  • Participate in major breast events (congresses, masterclasses)
  • Work collaboratively with counterparts in the business unit

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA, medical or scientific graduate degree preferred
  • Experience in Sales Management in medical devices
  • Proven record in leading a successful sales team, but also working collaboratively with other teams to achieve results
  • Experience in Breast or plastic surgery highly desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • A Growth Mindset
  • Strong drive for results. High degree of accountability: take ownership of tasks and get things done
  • Strong communication, presentation, customer facing, listening, and collaboration/negotiation skills
  • A creative, out-of-the-box thinker with an ambitious approach that can work autonomously
  • Ability to liaise with various functions in customer accounts on management level
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Versatile user of Salesforce.com or similar CRM, digital tools and Standard office software
  • Ability to influence without authority, using relationships and networks within the BD matrix to influence strategies within the region and at a global level
  • Proficient in English. Additional languages are considered as an advantage
  • Willingness to travel 50% +
