Key Responsibilities

  1. Support new and existing customers in the DACH region for our TeamMate product portfolio.
  2. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities to achieve lead generation objectives through outreach to potential clients for sales and marketing purposes.
  3. Qualify and close prospective new/existing customers by understanding customer business needs and risk and compliance challenges.
  4. Migrate existing customers to the newest TeamMate platform.
  5. Maintain post-sales contact with large or strategic clients to facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship.
  6. Participate in day-to-day organisational and team activities, and/or special projects to drive efficiency and improve revenue and profitability.
  7. Represent Wolters Kluwer within the industry and at trade shows/conferences.
  8. Collaborate with team members and management to improve processes and drive revenue/customer growth for the DACH sales region.
  9. Log, document, and update all sales and pipeline management activities within Salesforce and other required systems.
  10. Address/escalate any discovered circumstances of potential risk to management or the customer.

Job Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  2. Fluent in German and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  3. 3+ years’ experience in a B2B Software Field Sales or Account Management role.
  4. Ability to plan own territory/account approach.
  5. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  6. Confidence in articulating value propositions.
  7. Experience in carrying a quota and meeting/exceeding sales targets/goals preferred.
  8. Team oriented, cooperative, and flexible.
  9. Ability to collaboratively work with a wide range of people at all levels of the organization.
  10. Fast learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  11. Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems.
  12. Excellent planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  13. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  14. Place of residence in Germany (preferably in southern Germany).
  15. Willingness to travel to customers in the DACH area.
