Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage relationships with a defined list of large Edwards customers, aiming to increase Edwards' share of wallet. Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities within your business unit's portfolio.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact within your business unit for assigned customers, utilizing a good understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology relevant to EW medical products.
  3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons, and other influencers in the assigned region to promote Edwards' positioning in the market, using tact and diplomacy to influence buying decisions.
  4. Develop and close new business opportunities with existing customers and identify areas for improvement to meet sales targets. Develop and execute short-term regional plans to achieve objectives.
  5. Perform other incidental duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of progressive sales experience.

Additional Skills:

  • Good knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitors’ products.
  • Understanding of BU strategy, selling models, the medical devices industry, and regional selling environments.
  • Ability to understand assigned accounts and their challenges.
  • Good understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology related to EW medical products.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and explain EW product features compared to competitors.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external contacts.
  • Effective influencing skills on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy.
  • Adherence to company rules and safety protocols, including pandemic protocols, environmental health and safety rules, and control measures to prevent injuries and environmental pollution.
