Job Summary

The International Sales Manager for MPOB/IRP will be responsible for planning, developing, and leading the implementation of commercial strategies aligned with our company targets to accelerate growth. The role involves direct leadership and development of the sales organization, product management, customer experience, and collaboration with operations and external partners. This leader will manage teams impacting business growth (Sales, Product Management, Applications, and Inside Sales) and will be accountable for meeting and exceeding orders, revenue growth targets, increasing market share, and expanding margins. The individual will be a key member of the business leadership team, participating in strategy meetings and business reviews. The position is based in Germany, overseeing all of Europe.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop, plan, and implement commercial plans and strategies.
  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  3. Lead international sales team members to achieve sales targets.
  4. Establish and manage sales targets to meet annual goals in orders, sales, and profitability.
  5. Analyze sales results and trends to take proactive actions, including market research and threat/opportunity analysis.
  6. Manage and lead a diverse team of sales, applications, product, and customer support personnel.
  7. Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
  8. Define, monitor, and analyze performance metrics, and suggest improvements.
  9. Manage a channel network including distributors, OEMs, and strategic accounts.
  10. Develop and refine channel strategies to maximize channel value and strengthen relationships with top-tier partners.
  11. Train and mentor sales team members to support their professional development.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Strong commercial and business acumen.
  2. Proven experience as a Sales and Commercial Manager or similar role.
  3. Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred.
  4. Experience in Customer Relationship Management, with channel experience in both direct and indirect sales models.
  • 10+ years of experience in flow control (liquids) and related applications.
  • Hands-on experience in reporting, budgeting, and sales forecasting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Qualified candidates must be willing and able to travel 50-75% within the assigned territory.
