Company Description

We are a growing engineering company based in Düsseldorf, Germany, specializing in tailor-made solutions in process engineering for industrial applications. Our core expertise includes technical sales, engineering design, and project management for process systems in the chemical, mining, fertilizer, and environmental industries.

With a skilled team and a strong foundation in process technologies, we offer comprehensive services—from feasibility studies and laboratory testing to basic and detailed engineering, procurement, and coordination. We work in close collaboration with our manufacturing partner in Turkey to deliver turnkey solutions, including custom-designed process equipment.

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position ideally suited for someone based within a 2 to 3-hour radius of Düsseldorf.

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities across Europe (with a focus on Eastern Europe)
  • Creating and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Achieving revenue targets and expanding our client base
  • Managing customer relationships from initial contact through to contract closing
  • Collaborating with the technical team to ensure alignment between client needs and our engineering capabilities
  • Preparing sales reports, forecasts, and budgets

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on client engagement and offers a great opportunity to contribute directly to our company's growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the chemical process industry
  • Basic technical understanding of drying, calcination, and evaporation technologies
  • Proven track record in B2B technical sales and sales strategy development
  • Strong skills in client relationship management and account development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
