The Role

The EU Customer Fulfillment (CF) Process Engineers team consists of operational leaders driving process standardization and continuous improvement across the EU Customer Fulfillment Network. This team captures best practices from top-performing sites, validates them as new standards, accelerates technological advancements, and enhances process knowledge among operational leaders across the fulfillment centers (FC) network. EU CF Process Experts (PE) ensure operational teams are equipped with the necessary expertise to implement technology and process improvements effectively. The team focuses on process control to minimize variation and improve input metrics by coordinating resources among various teams including Process System Engineering, ACES, Central Ops, Launch teams, Operations Engineering, and Reliability and Maintenance (RME).

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Process Path Ownership and Excellence
    Serve as the subject matter expert for process paths across the EU region, defining and implementing standard operating procedures. Lead reviews to identify and validate best practices, oversee rollout, and act as the primary contact for ACES project implementation in the EU.
  2. Project Management and Optimization
    Manage internal PE initiatives such as the Top Hours project. Support site PEs and regional managers in project implementation, providing remote and onsite support for operational efforts like LEEP, PCC, and shift execution.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Act as the main PE contact for central functions like Central Ops and RME. Support Kaikaku events, generate PE OP1 project intake, and collaborate with the global Business Management team to establish and scale process standards worldwide.
About the Team

The EU Process Excellence Team comprises Process Engineers across Europe, part of the Operations team. Our mission is to eliminate process variation across Fulfillment Centers by promoting and scaling best practices at the network level. We foster a Day 1 culture, encouraging continuous improvement and problem-solving. We view every defect as an opportunity to raise standards daily.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited institution
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (C1 level)
  • Experience in Industrial Engineering, Business Process Engineering, Quality, Operations, or Logistics
  • Strong professional experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in German
  • Experience in multi-country or cross-regional continuous improvement environments
  • Knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to interpret and communicate analytics effectively to senior leadership
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivational leadership skills
