Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager located in Germany. We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Sales Manager – 5G Communications to lead Germany and EMES sales activities in driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence in the rapidly evolving private 5G network ecosystem. This role requires a proven sales leader with deep industry expertise, strong customer relationships, and the ability to translate technical solutions into business value for enterprise, telecom, and government customers.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute the sales strategy for private 5G network solutions across target verticals (telecom operators, enterprises, government, cloud providers).
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share through proactive business development and account management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team with a culture of accountability and excellence.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in 5G infrastructure, private networks, edge computing, and related services.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners (vendors, integrators, cloud providers) to develop joint solutions and go-to-market initiatives.

Customer Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and decision-makers, articulating the value of 5G solutions in driving digital transformation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by aligning technical, operational, and commercial requirements.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts, framework agreements, and long-term strategic deals.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor 5G industry trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to refine sales strategy.
  • Provide market feedback to product, marketing, and R&D teams to influence roadmap development.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in telecommunications, ICT, or related technology industries.
  • Proven track record of driving multi-million-dollar sales growth in enterprise or carrier markets.
  • Deep understanding of 5G, wireless networks, private networks, and related emerging technologies.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and operate in a fast-paced, global environment.
