Listgrove has been retained by a rapidly growing international manufacturer operating in the Petrochemicals and Plastics Industries who is recruiting a European Regional Sales Manager to spearhead their market entry into Europe.

Summary :

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the German Sales Manager will call on prospective plastic processor customers with particular attention to flexible packaging.

Market entry will be facilitated by and initially focus on a specific new product line that addresses an urgent market need.

This will require a high pace of activity and a technical sales approach.

Candidate Skills and Attributes :

  • The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated new business “Hunter” with in-depth knowledge of the flexible packaging market,
  • A technical background coupled with a minimum of 2-4 years of business to business sales or technical service experience.
  • Proven experience in the films / masterbatch or resins sector.
  • Home Office Germany
  • Language skills : German and English
  • Ability to communicate professionally.
  • Proficient in value-based selling, and use of sales tools including customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Self-driven and results oriented

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Polymers Science & Engineering or a business background with extensive technical training.
  • Ideally Knowledge of the polyethylene film producer market in Europe.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
