The Travel and Expense management landscape in Germany is dynamically transforming, driven by innovative technologies, evolving market trends, and emerging regulatory requirements. SAP Concur solutions empower organizations to automate and integrate their travel, expense, and invoice management processes, fostering efficiency and compliance in a complex business environment. Travel and Expense management is a crucial function in any organization, and with Concur solutions at the heart of SAP's strategy for Germany, we are set to redefine excellence in this domain.

Two main trends currently shaping the industry are:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Automation: Integrating AI and automation technologies enhances the accuracy and efficiency of travel and expense management, from booking to reimbursement. SAP AI is pivotal for our clients because it leverages 50 years of industry insights, business process expertise, and is tailored to the data requirements in applications our customers rely on daily.

These trends reflect the increasing importance of technology and data-driven solutions in modern travel and expense management practices, enabling organizations to adapt, optimize, and maintain compliance in the dynamic business landscape. As a Concur Travel & Expense Solution Sales Executive, you will directly contribute to cost control, policy compliance, and overall business success of our customers by helping them streamline their travel and expense processes and optimize their financial operations.

Expectations and Tasks:

  • Lead efforts to establish, develop and expand market share for Concur solutions with existing and net new customers in Germany.
  • Initiate contact and establish interest with key decision makers and develop an influence map.
  • Understand the customer's concerns, follow up appropriately, resolve conflicts in scheduling and resources as needed, and always maintain customer focus as a #1 priority.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams made up of various Concur units (including Customer Success, Presales, Partner Management) to ensure joint success.
  • Maintain relationships with co-selling partners and 3rd party software vendors.
  • Build up a sound knowledge of Concur’s products and services.
  • Develop a good understanding of the market trends, the customer territory and competitive offerings.
  • Provide feedback from field experience to internal cross-functional teams regarding product, selling, competitive, etc. matters.
  • Participate in the planning of sales and marketing campaigns and other strategic initiatives to ensure steady growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 4+ years of professional B2B sales experience with an emphasis on acquiring customers.
  • Relationships in travel & expense communities (e.g. Head of Finance, Global Mobility, Travel Management) are advantageous.
  • Track record of successfully selling/liaising at the C level with a corporate client network.
  • Professional, self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to achieve individual as well as team goals that will require working as a team in a complex sales cycle, as well as demonstrate the ability to communicate solutions.
  • Display high levels of energy and drive, thrive under pressure with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (min. C1 level) and English.
