ISS STOXX is looking for a Sales Executive to support our sales efforts acrossthe DACH territories for our suite of Responsible Investment Solutions including, Climate Data, Ratings & Rankings, Controversies, Impact &SDG’sand Regulatory Solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a demonstrated track record of sales to financial institutions and a genuine interestin the area ofSustainable and Responsible investments, including all aspects of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research and topics.

The role requires a high level of technical acumen, attention to detail, the ability to understand front office needs and strong collaboration skills.


Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue and renewalgoals byidentifyingand closingESG sales prospects and up sales with existing clients

  • Grow ISS' ESG market share, recognition and perception within theinvestment management andasset ownercommunity

  • Continuously assess ESG market opportunities, define and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management

  • Ensure detailed sales and renewal reporting and forecasting

  • Work closely with ISSBDRand Marketing managers to define products,services,and marketing plans

  • Build and maintain relationships amongst existing clients and prospects

  • Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firm's CRM system

  • Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments

Qualifications

  • A minimum of7-10years’ experience working within institutional sales and relationship managementwith a focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets

  • Bachelor or master’s degree with a background in Finance, Economics, or other related discipline is preferred

  • Track record of relationship management, business development and revenue generation either selling directly or through strategic partners

  • Demonstrated relationship and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Strong multi-tasking skills, with expert judgment to help set priorities

  • Absolute personal and business integrity

  • Fluent in German and English
