POSITION SUMMARY

The primary function of this position is to sell solutions by actively prospecting, acquiring, and closing new business using Lectra’s broad range of products and services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote Lectra’s vision and increase brand awareness through regular customer visits;
  • Develop account plans to optimize revenue potential, including defining key contacts, setting strategies, and organizing customer engagement;
  • Apply consultative selling methodology: ensure solutions meet customer needs, understand their strategies and challenges, create engagement, and identify new opportunities;
  • Manage the sales cycle for high-value technological solutions, including equipment, software, services, training, consulting, and maintenance contracts: opportunity detection, qualification, solution definition, presentations, negotiations, and closing;
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets by building a robust pipeline with assigned accounts.

PROFILE

We seek ambitious and curious B2B sales professionals passionate about innovation. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in direct and consultative sales of high-value solutions, ideally in high technology, SaaS, manufacturing, or CAD operations; experience in the fashion industry is a plus;
  • Ability to hunt new opportunities and adapt to new environments;
  • Skill in engaging customers through a value proposition and consultative selling methodology;
  • Strong communication, diplomacy, and trusted advisor skills;
  • Excellent listening skills to understand customer objectives and challenges;
  • Ability to close deals effectively;
  • Effective time management and task coordination skills;
  • Self-discipline in documenting sales activities in CRM;
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools;
  • Fluency in English is required.

TRAVEL

The position is based in Germany (preferably the South), with approximately 70% travel to customer sites within the DACH region.
