Sales Engineer – DACH Region (IAM Market)

Salary : €85,000 €90,000 + excellent OTE + benefits

Location : Remote – must be based in Germany

My client are specialists within Identity and Access Management (IAM) across Europe, providing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to safeguard digital identities for leading global companies. From IAM and PAM to IGA and CIAM, they deliver comprehensive solutions using top-tier tools like One Identity, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, and Workato.

They are looking for a Sales Executive with IAM sales experience to join their dynamic team in the Germany and cover the DACH region. You will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) cybersecurity space. You’ll work with some of the brightest minds in the industry and help shape the future of IAM solutions for businesses worldwide.

What You'll Do :

As a Sales Executive, your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and acquire new business opportunities within the IAM sector. You’ll work closely with potential clients to understand their IAM needs and position our innovative solutions to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Business Development : Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality leads, with a focus on expanding our presence in the IAM market.
  • Client Acquisition : Conduct needs assessments and tailor IAM solutions to meet client requirements, demonstrating the value of your company’s offerings.
  • Sales Strategy : Execute targeted sales campaigns, collaborate with vendors, and develop effective routes to market.
  • Market Research : Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive offerings to inform your sales approach and provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Solution Presentation & Proposals : Present IAM solutions to clients, create compelling proposals, and ensure smooth alignment with their needs.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with internal technical and consulting teams to deliver seamless onboarding and ensure client success.
  • Reporting & Forecasting : Keep track of sales activities, provide regular updates on progress, and forecast revenue in line with sales targets.

What You'll Need :

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a self-motivated, results-driven sales professional with :

  • 2-5 years of experience in business development within the IAM space (e.g., One Identity, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, or Workato).
  • Strong ability to identify and acquire new business opportunities.
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English (both written and spoken).
  • A passion for securing long-term client relationships, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a keen commercial mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high productivity levels.
  • A collaborative approach with a focus on team success.
