Sales Engineer

Location: Hannover region, Germany.

Salary: €fixed + variable.

Our customer, leading intralogistics business is looking to hire sales engineers in the Hannover region in order to capture more projects and market share from their customers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide independent, customer-focused support and advice.
• Design and develop custom solutions for clients.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in SAP ERP.
• Create and manage standard and tailored offers.
• Process customer specifications and coordinate with internal teams and third-party trades.
• Develop security/access concepts in collaboration with CE management.
• Define interfaces between mechanical systems and PLCs.
• Oversee and support project coordination.
• Collaborate with development, product management, design, and project teams.

Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Some experience in a similar role, ideally in technical sales.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge, intralogistics is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and CAD.
• Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.
• Organized, team-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel.
• Responsible, reliable, and communicative.
• Proficient in Germany & English; additional languages are a plus.
