About The Role: Sales Enablement Specialist (Bid Management Specialist)

You will be part of a Commercial Strategy & Enablement team based in Bonn, Germany. This team works diligently to strategize on behalf of, enable, and develop global Sales and Customer Success teams at LNIP. You will coordinate responses to RFPs, complex proposals, and additional client-facing documentation requests, working closely with our Legal, Technology, Information Security, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

This position is also responsible for providing day-to-day enablement support to internal clients. This role partners closely with the Sales team and other departments to drive greater efficiencies of operational processes, including client-facing documentation processing, tools development, account maintenance (e.g., processes for managing renewals and account planning), and various reporting activities to enhance Sales support.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and production of persuasive, compliant, and timely proposal responses to customer requests for information (RFI), requests for proposals/tenders and other procurement or due diligence requests such as security questionnaires and vendor forms in support of the LNIP global sales organization.
  • Lead the overall end-to-end process, including assembling a bid team, RFP analysis, bid/no bid decisions, proposal timelines, proposal outlines, win strategy development and developing proposal responses. Develop and employ tools to ensure the response is fully compliant with the requirements of the RFP. Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, reviews, approvals, and signatures.
  • Build strong relationships with and coordinate inputs from a variety of functional areas such as Pricing, Legal/Contracts, Product, IT, and Marketing.
  • Coordinate, monitor progress, and escalate due diligence/client documentation requests as needed with RELX/LNPS counterparts; serves as LNIP liaison in this capacity.
  • Track and manage metrics for wins/losses. Maintain enablement platform on behalf of LNIP.
  • Contribute to client-facing documentation repository including frequently asked questions, templates and examples.
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial operations, sales operations, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years experience in bid management.
  • Preference with Seismic or equivalent enablement platform preferred.
  • Strong time management skills, very decisive and results-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills are essential.
  • Communication will be in German and English.
