From Luxe Talent , International Recruitment and Specialised Training Consultancy, we are currently looking for an experienced Sales Director DACH on behalf of one of our clients, a fast growing international Digital Agency , based in Hamburg / Berlin / Remote .
In our recruitment and training consultancy, we work with various companies in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors across Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich and Amsterdam.
Responsibilities of the Sales Director DACH :
As the Sales Director DACH , you will play a pivotal role in driving business expansion and establishing a strong market presence. You will be responsible for recruiting and then guiding the local team, translating the organization’s broader vision into impactful local initiatives. Your leadership will be essential in shaping operational plans that ensure sustainable growth in line with international goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Market Strategy Implementation : Design and execute effective go-to-market strategies tailored to local consumer behavior and industry trends.
Team Leadership : Lead, develop, and inspire the local team, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging professional development.
Financial Oversight : Monitor and manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are consistently met.
Business Development : Identify growth opportunities, open new channels, and strengthen the company’s position in the market.
Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and clients to enhance collaboration and drive long-term value.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure full compliance with national laws and regulations, promoting operational integrity and minimizing risk.
Performance Monitoring : Continuously evaluate key business metrics, adjusting strategies to improve efficiency and achieve optimal results.

Industry Knowledge : Strong background in digital advertising, including programmatic media, data-driven strategies, and emerging AdTech solutions.
Strategic Vision : Proven experience launching and scaling operations in new markets with tailored, locally relevant strategies.
Data-Driven Approach : Comfortable using analytics to shape decisions, optimize campaigns, and measure impact.
Relationship Builder : Skilled in developing trust-based partnerships with agencies, advertisers, and tech providers.
Cultural Fluency : Deep understanding of the German market and consumer mindset, with an ability to communicate across cultures.
Agility & Resilience : Thrive in fast-paced environments, managing ambiguity and driving results through change.
Tech Orientation : Familiar with digital tools and platforms that enhance visibility, performance, and efficiency.
Key Requirements
Experience : Minimum 8 years in management roles, with at least 5 years in sales or business development in digital / AdTech.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or similar; Master’s degree is a plus.
Languages : Fluent in German and English; additional languages (Spanish, French, Italian) are an asset.
Leadership : Track record of leading teams, driving performance, and fostering growth.
Strategic & Financial Acumen : Strong planning and budget management capabilities.
Market Insight : In-depth knowledge of the German business environment and consumer behavior.
Analytical Thinking : Able to solve problems and identify growth opportunities through a structured, data-informed approach.
