About the Opportunity
This isn't your typical sales leadership role. It's a chance to launch and lead an entire region for one of the fastest-growing global ecommerce brands in the professional tools and equipment space.
Our client is expanding rapidly, already serving over 200 markets, and is now investing in local market leadership across Europe. They are looking for a Sales Director with entrepreneurial drive to build a high-performing sales network, define market strategy, and own local success from day one.
You will have global support, but the vision, direction, and execution in your region will be your responsibility.
What You'll Own
- Market Launch & Leadership: Develop and execute the go-to-market plan in your assigned country/region (Germany, France, or CEE).
- Dealer & Distributor Networks: Identify, onboard, and manage key channel partners and accounts.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Set and deliver regional sales targets, policies, and budgets that scale.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships across retail trade and channel communities.
- Market Intelligence: Track trends, gather competitor insights, and provide feedback to shape product direction.
- Team Building: Recruit, train, and lead a local sales team from the ground up.
- Global Alignment: Work with HQ on logistics, marketing, and product to localize strategies and scale sustainably.
Requirements
- Who You Are
- Sales Veteran with 8+ years of offline sales experience in tools, electronics, or appliances, with proven success in scaling B2B and retail channels.
- Team Leader who has managed teams of 10 or more and knows how to lead through growth, challenges, and change.
- Multilingual & Global: Fluent in English and Chinese (both required). Proficiency in French, German, or other European languages is a plus.
- Locally Embedded: Deep understanding of local business culture with a strong professional network in your country/region.
- Builder's Mindset: Proactive, ready to launch, test, iterate, and grow.
- Eligible to work legally in Germany, France, or a CEE country.
