Role Overview:

Drive the expansion of Engineering Services in Europe by increasing revenue, enhancing market presence, and delivering impactful solutions. This position plays a key role in identifying strategic opportunities that maximize value for both the company and its clients, contributing to sustainable growth and success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Cultivate relationships with automotive OEMs throughout Europe to identify and secure new opportunities for Engineering Services.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, using these insights to formulate and implement effective business development strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong connections with key stakeholders, ensuring their technical requirements align with the company’s engineering service offerings.
  • Proposal Creation: Oversee the development of persuasive business proposals, presentations, and contracts that meet customer needs and showcase the value of the company’s engineering services.
  • Sales & Revenue Enhancement: Meet and surpass sales targets by building a solid sales pipeline, finalizing deals, and driving revenue growth in the assigned region.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate closely with the new engineering service entity, software engineering, and sales teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in selling high-value engineering services to automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in Europe, with 7–10+ years in Service Solution Sales. Experience in areas such as:
  • User-centered HMI/UX engineering, validation, and research
  • Immersive interface prototyping and AR/VR design workflows
  • Embedded systems and E/E architecture
  • Connectivity & e-drive
  • Strong professional network and relationships with key decision-makers at leading European automotive OEMs, capable of leveraging contacts for deal flow and strategic positioning.
  • Solid technical or research background (ideally with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Human Factors, Psychology, Design, or a related field), paired with strong commercial insight and an understanding of service delivery models.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in Sales, Business Development, Product Management, or a related field.

Performance Metrics:

  • New Business Secured (€ Value or # of Deals): Total value or quantity of new Engineering Services contracts signed with European OEMs.
  • Revenue Growth (%): Year-over-year revenue increase from Engineering Services in Europe.
  • Sales Pipeline Conversion Rate (%): The percentage of qualified leads that become signed deals, reflecting effectiveness in business development.
  • Customer Engagement Index: Number of strategic relationships established or strengthened with OEMs, including executive-level interactions and technical alignment sessions.
  • Proposal Win Rate (%): Proportion of submitted proposals that successfully secure business.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Score: Feedback or completion rate on joint initiatives with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Business Groups.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the Vice President & General Manager (Europe).
