Field Sales Department Manager, Germany (m/w/d)

As the Head of Field Sales, you will lead the Field Sales team and play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of our regional and national sales efforts. You will shape strategies that align with both company-wide goals and the unique needs of the German market. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams, ensuring that our field sales operations contribute to long-term success while fostering strong partnerships within the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Oversee and inspire a team of more than 50 Field Sales professionals in 6 teams across Germany, including direct reports from experienced (senior) team leads.
  2. Conduct periodic business reviews with the leadership team and the wider sales organization to assess performance and strategy alignment.
  3. Work closely with Sales Support and Account Management to provide a high-quality, consistent experience across all customer touchpoints.
  4. Partner with Lead Management to supply the Field Sales teams with high-quality, conversion-ready leads and develop data-driven strategies to identify potential top partners in every city that our customers will love.
  5. Build strong relationships with Sales Steering and Operations to ensure alignment of go-to-market strategies with global initiatives, including sales tools, reporting, sales materials, and incentive models.
  6. Collaborate closely with the Manager of Inside Sales to harmonize Field and Inside Sales activities.

Requirements:

  • Background in achieving ambitious goals in global matrix-driven sales organizations, preferably in a B2B2C environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in sales operations software and tools, including CRM systems and data analytics platforms.
  • Fluent in German and English.
