We are looking for someone who thrives on picking up the phone and turning calls into real conversations. If you enjoy talking to people, sparking curiosity, and getting innovative engineering leaders interested, this is the role for you. You’ll be reaching out, following up, and setting up meetings - because that’s how we grow.

What You Will Do

The role is available as a part-time (30 hours/week) opportunity as well.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Synera, you will be the first voice our future customers hear - innovative leaders across Europe and the US. Your mission? Turn curiosity into conversations, and conversations into real business opportunities.

Let’s be real: This role is all about picking up the phone, sending follow-ups, and making connections. But you will also learn what makes CAD and CAE decision-makers tick, test different outreach approaches, and work closely with Marketing and Sales to fill the pipeline with high-quality leads.

Your scope of todos:

  1. Pipeline Building: You qualify leads and set up meetings for the Account Executive team. In other words, you are constantly on the phone (50+ calls/day).
  2. Prospect & Qualify: You engage engineering leaders and decision-makers via cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls).
  3. Outbound Excellence: You shape and manage targeted outbound campaigns, working with the Marketing team to optimize messaging.
  4. Engage & Story-telling: You spark interest in Synera’s Agentic AI solutions through compelling storytelling and value-driven conversations.
  5. Iterate & Improve: You analyze outreach performance, test new approaches, and refine our SDR playbook.

What You Need To Succeed

Even if you don't meet these criteria perfectly but believe you have lots to bring to the role, we encourage you to apply. We know it's tough, but please keep in mind that you don't have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role.

  • You have solid and proven experience in outbound activities, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • You can showcase your track record with convincing results (e.g. overachieving quota for multiple quarters).
  • You are a strong communicator in English. You speak German, too? Even better!
  • You are able to quickly learn and pitch complex technical solutions (bonus if you have experience in AI, CAD, CAE, or engineering automation).
  • You handle rejections and iterate quickly; you are resilient with a growth mindset.
  • You are open to work in an afternoon shift (max. 2-3 days/week).
  • You might know CRM systems, cold outreach tools, and LinkedIn prospecting.
  • You enjoy hunting for opportunities!
