The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

Join our dynamic Sales team at Personio and be part of the transformation of how people experience work in Austria. The role is primarily office-based at our German offices in Munich or Berlin.

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll develop our sales pipeline, working closely with the Account Executive, Marketing, and Partnership teams.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • First Impressions Matter: Be the initial contact for potential customers, establishing relationships with decision-makers using active, confident, and friendly communication.
  • Solution-oriented approach: Act as a consultant to Austrian customers, identifying challenges and demonstrating how Personio can support them.
  • Proactive lead generation: Research and identify new customers, developing personalized sales strategies for outbound lead generation to expand in Austria.
  • Team Collaboration: Share best practices and support teammates in sales development and account management.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Market Insight: Interest in the Austrian market, with experience or familiarity with the Austrian dialect preferred.
  • Sales Acumen: Previous experience in B2B sales, internships, or roles in event management or hospitality are valuable.
  • Tech Enthusiasm: Genuine interest in software products and ability to work effectively with them.
  • Effective Communication: Fluency in German (C2) and English (B1+), including proficiency in the Austrian dialect.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Economics, Communications, Social Sciences, or related fields; relevant work experience is also accepted.
