The Impact You'll Make

Are you a commercially driven professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships and identifying new market opportunities? Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a proactive and result-oriented Sales Development Manager (m / f / d), who can identify new sales opportunities and expand the share in existing accounts within the Fluid Conveyance Division for OEM channel.

In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders across business units, technical teams, and external partners to drive strategic initiatives and develop new business opportunities. This position offers international exposure, a collaborative culture, and exciting growth potential.

The preferred location is Baden-Baden, Germany, but we are also open to other Danfoss locations in the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Poland. You can expect regular travel (up to 25%) and close collaboration with global colleagues.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting strategic accounts across targeted regions and channels
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and product teams to deliver tailored value propositions to OEM and distribution partners
  • Lead strategic customer engagements and support local sales teams in key negotiations and project pursuits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across new and existing accounts
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity data within CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Analyze market coverage, penetration, and identify gaps and trends across regions and product lines

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Several years of sales or business development experience, ideally within the industrial, fluid power, or related sectors
  • Proven ability to drive customer growth and build strategic relationships
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German is beneficial
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer-centric mindset
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce), MS Office, and ideally SAP
