What you'll do

In this role, you will work in a team of Digital Sales Development Specialists and digital-native talents. We are looking for individuals passionate about creating digital experiences, finding and developing new customers for SAP, and demonstrating the power of SAP solutions and our Partner Ecosystem to transform and grow their businesses. Success in this role requires an appreciation for an internal start-up culture, agile working style, open communication, and a flexible, sales-oriented environment.

  • Develop into a professional digital sales developer to drive social selling and demand generation in SAP’s Growth Business.
  • Co-design and execute outbound campaigns to new and existing customers, follow up on leads, and nurture opportunities with our Ecosystem partners.
  • Apply new digital sales methods such as digital prospecting, video communication, and social listening & selling to generate interest and qualify customer requirements.
  • Align with sales teams and partners, and pass qualified opportunities to Territory Sales to manage the partner-driven sales process.
  • Develop industry, product, and partner expertise to generate customer interest and serve as a digital influencer for SAP and the Partner-led business model.
  • Share best practices across digital teams and partners.
  • Learn about SAP products and digital innovations like Generative AI, Microsites, Customer Experience, and Sales Execution Platforms. Manage your projects like a business with regular performance reviews in line with SAP sales best practices.

What you bring

  • Experience in social selling, sales, business development, or B2B marketing, or comparable roles.
  • Interest and initial experience with digital technologies such as video creation, AI, storytelling, blogging, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
  • Experience building customer relationships through traditional calls and social media, with a track record of generating leads and followers.
  • A desire to become a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and helping them innovate through digital transformation.
  • Ability to work well in teams and thrive in a dynamic, performance-focused environment.
  • Existing network within the SAP environment or ecosystem is advantageous.
  • Educational qualification such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent German language skills are mandatory; English skills are preferred.
