Job summary

Antech is seeking a Sales Data Analyst to develop analyses and dashboards, monitor sales KPIs, and support decision-making across Sales and Marketing. You will transform raw data into insights, collaborate with multiple teams, and help identify growth opportunities.

The role emphasizes data visualization, reporting, and training teams to use dashboards and data tools effectively, contributing to improved customer and business performance.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree IT, maths, engineering, ideally with 1-2 years of experience in sales, finance or similar analytical areas.
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills
• Initiative in the implementation of the sales strategy
• Very good communication and negotiation skills
• Solution-oriented, structured and independent way of working
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Fluency in Germand and English written and spoken
• Competence in structure and development of complex reports and analyses and presentation to stakeholders
• Knowledge of core systems: Salesforce, NetExam, Igloo, Magento, Web platform hosting, Alteryx, EZ Publish, Jotform, Wordpress and GetResponse. Knowledge of Excel and database manipulation.

Responsibilities

• The main task is to conceptualize and create complex analyses, reportings, and interactive dashboards and prepare recommendations for action.
• Data comes from the company’s CRM systems and financial reporting systems; analyze and visualize data with Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.
• Prepare management summaries and presentations to explain results and derive action templates.
• Provide support in coordination, control and accounting of headquarters agreements.
• Sales Analyst Reporting provides basis for evaluating sales measures, budget planning and P&L.

The Sales Data Analyst creates and develops analysis and customer management tools and regularly monitors the sales KPIs (sales, volume, mix, profitability, penetration, promotion, etc.) as well as the contracting. Her/his work serves as a support for the decisions of the Sales Director and the Sales Managers in order to sustainably develop and optimize customer and business performance based on analytical considerations. In this way, she/he takes on the function of a co-pilot and represents a link to internal and external contact persons. As a Data and Business Analyst at Antech, the job holder transforms raw data from various systems into insights and dynamic data models. In doing so, they collaborate closely with the Marketing and Sales departments and are responsible for identifying potential growth opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The main task of the sales analyst is to conceptualize and create complex analyses, reportings, and interactive dashboards as well as prepare recommendations for action, including NSV performance: by modality/customer, by market data (internal/external), by product/service, by sales region, etc.
• The data and information come from the company’s own CRM systems, financial reporting systems and from external sites and information, and operational documents. Analysis, processing, and visualization of raw data using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, or Tableau.
• The sales analyst analyzes all the data collected with the help of mathematical and statistical methods and visualizes careful e.g. weekly, monthly or quarterly reports, e.g. with Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Alteryx, etc.
• She/he prepares management summaries and/or presentations in order to explain the results in a clear, meaningful way and, if necessary, derive recommendations for action or decision templates.
• In addition, she/he provides support in the coordination, control and accounting of the agreements made in the headquarters.
• Sales Analyst Reporting provides a solid basis for the evaluation and evaluation of sales measures as well as their success monitoring, taking into account budget planning and the company’s internal P&L.
• It also serves to provide the Sales team with data-based recommendations for increasing sales, mix and margins and to provide investment guidelines for the decision-making process in Sales. In doing so, he keeps an eye on different budget KPIs and supports the KAM team in their control and further development.
• Careful and reliable sales analyses and forecasts are the necessary basis for decision-making for more efficient customer management and can create an important competitive advantage.
• Part of the role is the advancement of the Antech data landscape and key performance indicator system
• Job holder is also responsible for training teams for independent use of data/dashboards, as well as development, updating and management of databases.
