Our culture is centered on our guiding philosophy, The Five Principles: Quality, Responsibility, Mutuality, Efficiency and Freedom. Today Antech is driving the future of pet health as part of Mars Science & Diagnostics, a family-owned company focused on veterinary care.

The Professional Services Veterinarian (PSV) provides high‑level consultancy to veterinary practices of all sizes - from single‑site clinics to multi‑disciplinary referral centers - engaging with stakeholders at every level, including practice owners, veterinary associates, medical directors, and senior executives across DACH. As a trusted clinical and commercial advisor, the PSV helps practices optimise their diagnostic workflows and medical decision‑making, demonstrating how Antech’s products and services improve clinical outcomes, efficiency, and business performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide in‑clinic, customer‑facing medical support alongside sales Associates to reinforce best‑practice diagnostic medicine and influence adoption of Antech solutions.
  • Support the Corporate Accounts team and local sales organisation in identifying and acquiring new customers, using clinical credibility to strengthen commercial conversations.
  • Partner with our Sales leadership to elevate medical capability across the team through formal and informal training that enhances diagnostic confidence.
  • Manage objections to diagnostic adoption, utilisation, and spend optimisation, using medical influence to build trust across hospital and clinic teams.
  • Educate sales teams and customers on the medical relevance of new and existing diagnostic products, ensuring clear understanding of clinical value and application.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to target key clients for acquisition or growth, delivering continuing education including Lunch & Learns, small‑group sessions, webinars, and individual support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to build network of influencers who can build confidence in Antech’s diagnostic solutions.
  • Work with sales leaders to develop medical support strategies that strengthen penetration in priority corporate accounts including into the top leadership.
  • Collaborate with Antech training and marketing teams, contributing medical expertise to written materials, presentations, and Academy sessions.
  • Respond to customer questions with accurate medical and technical advice, resolving product concerns and guiding diagnostic decision‑making.
  • Attend tradeshows and events to represent Antech products and provide expert medical support. Travel: 60-70% to support field associates. Primarily across the Germany but may also cover parts of Europe where required. Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification is required; an advanced degree or board certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Veterinary Industry and/or in Veterinary Practice
  • You possess a solid knowledge of current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine, preferably in companion animal care and diagnostic trends.
  • Demonstrated commercial and medical acumen, with the ability to connect clinical insight to business outcomes and articulate the value of diagnostic products and services.
  • Strong presentation skills and a willingness to speak confidently in public, delivering clear, engaging content to diverse clinical and commercial audiences. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence effectively across all levels of a veterinary organisation.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capability and ability to work cross‑functionally in a matrixed organization.
  • Customer‑centric mindset, reflected through service‑oriented behaviour and the ability to build trusted, credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Driven, organised, and self‑directed, with the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver results with minimal oversight.
  • Proficient in core business software, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • This is a field‑based role, so you should be able to accommodate extensive travel up to 70%.
