Celerity is a leading provider of fiber optic engineering and construction services, delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions to power the future of connectivity. Our team specializes in network design, fiber installation, and turnkey solutions for telecom, broadband, and utility sectors. We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Coordinator to support our sales team in driving business growth. This role involves a mix of sales support, client relationship management, and administrative duties to ensure seamless communication between sales, engineering, and operations teams. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This is a FT/salaried position that includes a bonus and commission structure.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Outbound Sales & Client Engagement

  • Conduct cold calling to generate leads and schedule appointments.
  • Execute email outreach campaigns to engage prospects and follow up on leads.
  • Set up and coordinate sales appointments and client meetings.
  • Attend offsite meetings with clients and partners as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Assist the sales team with lead management, proposal preparation, and contract documentation.
  • Maintain and update customer records in CRM systems, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Track sales metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to improve performance.
  • Maintain and update sales lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Event & Trade Show Coordination

  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and generate business opportunities.
  • Assist with event planning, booth setup, and follow-ups with potential clients.

Administrative & Process Management

  • Organize and maintain sales documents, presentations, and contracts.
  • Monitor bid and RFP deadlines, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Assist in pricing, quoting, and contract negotiations by gathering necessary details.
  • Coordinate logistics for sales meetings and company events.

Schedule & Availability

  • Be available for occasional night and weekend work to accommodate trade shows, client needs, and project deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales support, coordination, or business development role, preferably in telecom, construction, or engineering industries.
  • Experience with cold calling, email outreach, lead generation, and appointment setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to travel occasionally for offsite meetings and industry events.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Hours can be flexible based on business needs.

Travel

This position requires extensive travel, including the ability to travel to conferences, events, and to customer locations. Out-of-area, overnight, and national travel may be expected.
