Job Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and determine make, type, and quality of vehicle desired.
  • Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom or on demonstration drive.
  • Suggest optional equipment for customer purchase.
  • Compute and quote sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discounts.
  • Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales, including preparing sales slips or contracts.
  • Arrange for delivery and registration of vehicle.
  • Research availability of models and optional equipment.
  • Engage in business development.
  • Address customer concerns.
  • Maintain CSI at or above company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follow safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the company’s core values.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Observe all federal, state, local, and company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Valid driver's license.

College degree, high school diploma, or equivalent.

Two years of direct customer-facing sales experience preferred (automotive or similar fast-paced environment).

Leadership skills and ability to build relationships with customers.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.

Computer literacy and ability to use customer databases.

Confidence in sales ability and knowledge of best practices.
