We are hiring: Import and Export Specialist for Chemical Products

We are seeking a dedicated professional for a long-term, direct recruitment position at our Düsseldorf office, representing a globally operating Japanese trading company. The role involves handling import and export operations of chemical products.

Responsibilities:

1. Order processing for import and export transactions, including issuing all relevant documents.
2. Monitoring import and export activities, logistics, and warehousing to ensure timely execution.
3. Coordinating logistics in a timely manner.
4. Preparing invoices, managing credit limits, applying for credit insurance, and controlling incoming payments including dunning processes.
5. Providing sales figures to sales staff and managing directors.
6. Supporting customers and suppliers.
7. Assisting the sales team and division manager.

Qualifications:

• Commercial training in wholesale, foreign trade, freight forwarding, or similar.
• Several years of professional experience in trade or import/export business.
• Experience with chemical industry products is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in written and spoken German and English.
• SAP knowledge (merchandise management system) is essential.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
