The position of Science Account Manager is responsible for generating business and educating potential clients on the various Oxford recruitment service offerings. This role maintains and expands client relations, growing the number of contractors per client, tracking opportunities to achieve annual sales plans, and maximizing return on investment and profitability for the office.
Identify and develop potential clients and new markets by executing a Territory Management Plan, conducting cold calls and personal client visits, and tracking hiring trends. Conduct sales presentations of features, benefits and cost advantages of Oxford services. Utilize the client and candidate contact management system, documenting all information in the database. Adhere to predetermined weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), review sales performance, and provide management data. Increase job orders by identifying staffing needs, making accurate quotations, negotiating agreements, and collaborating with recruiting. Communicate staffing needs and new business leads to branch team members. Supply clients with customized Oxford sales materials. Follow-up frequently with decision makers to build relationships and generate new business. Maintain knowledge of governmental, accrediting agency, and client‑specific contractual laws. Manage all aspects of assignments and contractors, conduct quality control calls, provide guidance and coaching, and close assignments as required. Attend networking events and exhibitions, represent Oxford, gather market information, and make marketing recommendations. Provide support to recruitment staff during absences and ensure accurate communication with payroll and finance teams. Develop and evolve a sales plan, continue knowledge development, and perform any other reasonable duties directed by the manager.
