For our client, a renowned Italian company with over 40 years’ experience in outdoor living we are looking for a Sales Account Manager Germany (m / f / d) to help drive sales and growth for the Southern area of Germany.
Main responsibilities :
- Continually seek out and exploit new business opportunities in the assigned region.
- Take responsibility for the effective onboarding of new dealers and architects / design studios to meet growth targets by utilizing resources like market research, databases, CRM, and networking.
- Conduct regular analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends, providing market feedback to relevant company functions regarding competitive offerings and prospect needs.
- Generate product ideas to meet market needs based on analysis and feedback.
- Analyze customer needs using knowledge of products and services to determine solutions that will create value for the customer.
- Engage with key decision-makers and other customer representatives according to an appropriate call cycle frequency and channel to gather information and create proposals.
- Accurately forecast revenue on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop and maintain relationships within customers’ organizations to uncover opportunities to grow the business by addressing customer needs.
- Follow up with existing clients according to the appropriate call cycle frequency and channel to ensure customer satisfaction and that all business needs are met.
- Present information to customers on product innovations, modifications, and promotional tools to add more value to their business.
- Troubleshoot and provide answers to customer problems by aligning the customer with the right resource, such as Customer Service, After Sales, or Operations.
- Educate key retailers and architects about the product offering, becoming a full brand ambassador for the South Germany market, particularly in the areas of Bayern and Baden Württemberg.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products and solutions.
Requirements :
- A high school diploma is required, a college degree is preferred.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience, particularly in a hunter role, in the B2B channel and selling luxury products and services.
- Candidates must be fluent in English and German.
- Knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
- The ability to build strong relationships with clients and negotiate effectively is essential.
- The candidate must have strong problem-solving skills and a high level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
- The candidate should be technically curious.
