A leading global publisher of science video solutions is seeking motivated sales professionals to drive adoption of its digital products at universities and colleges across the DACH region. With a strong global presence and working with clients in over 60 countries, this company offers an exciting opportunity to work in a remote-first environment while engaging with top academic institutions!

This role can be based in either Germany or Austria, and it's home-based but with regular travel to university campuses across the region.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, working with researchers, teaching faculty, and academic librarians. This position is ideal for a target-driven achiever who thrives in a remote sales role and is eager to make an impact in the education and science sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan
  • Conduct daily outreach to build new business and maintain existing client relationships
  • Present products virtually and in-person at institutions and events
  • Use data-driven insights to prioritise sales efforts effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams on sales targets, campaigns, and marketing activities
  • Attend tradeshows and industry events to expand market reach

The ideal candidate

Our client is looking for candidates that will demonstrate a real enthusiasm for sales and for the scientific eduction sector. Ideally, they will also possess :

  • Industry experience in a sales role ideally in EdTech, STEM publishing, or SaaS
  • Full professional proficiency in German (spoken and written)

  • Experience using Salesforce and HubSpot
