Join JPMorgan & Chase Co. at our newest European hub for Chase bank in Germany, as a Risk Governance & Documentation – Senior Associate / Vice President. In this role, you will coordinate governance, documentation, and regulatory change requirements within our International Consumer Banking (ICB) Risk Team, playing a key role in enhancing risk governance frameworks and ensuring effective risk management across the organization.

Job responsibilities

• Lead EU-specific risk governance efforts and support local regulatory submissions, collaborating with Risk colleagues and senior stakeholders.
• Support the Risk Governance Centre of Excellence as secretariat for Risk Committees and Forums.
• Coordinate review, drafting, amending, and publishing Risk policies, standards, manuals, and procedures according to local and corporate standards.
• Review Risk legal obligations, working with stakeholders to ensure correct mapping to policies and processes.
• Participate in governance and documentation projects, including EU expansion initiatives.
• Promote a culture of risk awareness and best practices within the Risk organization.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
• Experience with EU banking regulations and risk governance in financial services.
• Knowledge of Retail Deposits and/or Consumer Credit.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience acting as secretariat for Committees.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and sound judgment.
