The role

As a post-production manager in the HelloFresh Studio, you are part of our post-production team, working daily on food and lifestyle imagery. Your expertise in retouching, primarily using Photoshop, is crucial in delivering consistent, appealing, high-quality, yet natural-looking imagery to our stakeholders. You have a good eye for detail, take pride in your work, appreciate constructive feedback, prioritize tasks efficiently, and have strong time management skills. You communicate effectively with various stakeholders and handle photography assets with care and structure. You stay updated with the latest image creation and retouching developments, including generative AI tools.

What you’ll do

• Editing and retouching of our in-house food, product, and lifestyle photography.
• Handling and fulfilling retouching requests within a global, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Collaborating with internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication with stakeholders worldwide, and managing feedback professionally.
• Maintaining an organized workflow and file management in our Digital Asset Management software.
• Ensuring a consistent look according to our guidelines throughout your work and representing our brand as a dedicated ambassador.
• Owning your projects and managing your stakeholder relationships.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of professional retouching experience in a commercial setting.
• A genuine passion for food and food imagery.
• Strong expertise in Adobe Photoshop, with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends. Advanced skills in Capture One and/or Lightroom are a plus.
• Experience with image generative AI tools.
• A collaborative team player attitude, excited about working in a creative and efficient environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A keen eye for detail and consistency in outputs.
• Thoroughness in administrative tasks and a structured work approach.
• A pragmatic mindset, always seeking ways to improve and optimize routine tasks.
