In this role, you will support and gradually take ownership of key parts of our retention marketing funnel, expanding into growth-focused tasks – from lifecycle communications and loyalty programs to acquisition campaigns.

Aufgaben
Retention & CRM
- Support the development and execution a full-funnel retention strategy to boost repeat purchases and customer lifetime value
- Own and scale our email marketing (via Klaviyo) with segment-specific campaigns, promotions, product launches, and A/B tests. Launch and maintain automated flows like post-purchase sequences, exit-intent, goodbye, and win-back campaigns
- Set up WhatsApp marketing (via Charles) as a new channel and develop messaging strategies from the ground up
- Support the development of a customer loyalty program from scratch, including concept, launch, and continuous optimization
- Implement and regularly optimize physical mailing campaigns (via Mailody or Pentroy)
- Conduct recurring customer surveys and integrate insights into customer journeys and personas
- Analyze customer behavior and retention data (via Klar, Google Analytics) and derive actionable insights
Growth & Performance
- Apply learnings from retention marketing (e.g. customer behavior, customer feedback, segmentation data) into growth messaging and landing page content
- Write on-brand, data-informed messaging to be used for selected ads, landing pages, and promotions
- Support light Shopify content updates to align website messaging with real customer needs
- Ensure alignment between retention learnings and our external communication strategy
Qualifikation
- You are experienced: 1–2 years of hands-on CRM, retention, or lifecycle marketing experience – ideally in a fast-paced D2C or e-commerce environment
- You are customer-obsessed: You think from the user's perspective and love crafting tailored, brand-aligned communications
- You are a strong writer: Excellent copywriting skills in German (native level) are a must.
- You are data-driven: You make decisions based on metrics, not gut feeling – and love testing and iterating
- You are tool-savvy: Experience with Klaviyo, Charles, Klar, Google Analytics, Shopify and AI tools
- You are a collaborator: You possess exceptional communication skills and thrive in small, cross-functional teams and communicate openly and transparently
- You are hands-on: You’re proactive, curious, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
- You are eager to grow: You’re ambitious and ready to take the next step into owning our retention marketing and shape our growth marketing playbook.
- You speak the language: You speak our customers’ and team’s language. Therefore, fluency in German and English is a must.
