Role Overview

In this role, you will act as the central orchestrator between our retail strategy and tech teams, translating commercial needs into functional requirements for innovative solutions. As our retail division rapidly expands, we seek to hire a retail-minded team player with a passion for systems and technology.

You will collaborate with IT Product Managers to convert strategic initiatives into value-creating tech solutions. These initiatives may include integrating new POS, PIM, OMS, or RFID solutions, or designing system customizations to increase efficiency or enhance customer experience. Working with other teams at On, you will assess and drive new ideas to inspire the next generation of retail technologies, both customer-facing and operational.

Your Mission

1. Collaborate with our Retail Strategy and Retail Operations teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within our retail IT systems.
2. Partner with Functional Retail Consultants and IT Product Managers to translate retail requirements into software solutions that create value.
3. Work with IT Product Managers to manage project scope, timeline, and budget, whether projects are executed internally or with external partners.
4. Oversee the implementation of software development initiatives from exploration to deployment and maintenance.
5. Integrate existing solutions with external systems to optimize efficiency and functionality.
6. Ensure seamless interaction between new and existing software applications within our retail ecosystem.
7. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues proactively, collaborating with retail tech support and development teams to implement solutions.
8. Implement and enhance monitoring systems to detect and resolve issues before impacting operations.

Your Profile

1. 5+ years of experience as an IT product manager or product owner, preferably in retail.
2. Experience with MS D365 or similar ERP systems in large-scale environments.
3. Experience with OMS or Microsoft Commerce products (RTS, distribution management, batch jobs) is a strong asset.
4. Proven track record in managing system integrations and software projects with multiple stakeholders.
5. Extensive experience with POS customization, troubleshooting, and retail technologies like RFID.
6. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
7. Experience in process and application standardization is a plus.
8. Detail-oriented and motivated professional eager to innovate in retail processes.
