The HR Business Partner supports and manages the overall provision of people services, policies and programs together with the DACHCZ Retail HR Team to enable an empowering people experience and organization’s effectiveness. Drives the implementation and delivery of our People and Culture strategy, employee services and development of our multi-brand retail organization in Germany, Switzerland, Austria & Czech Republic. This position mainly focuses on our store network in North, East & West Germany as well as in Czech Republic. The HR Business Partner also leads the planning, implementation and follow-up of selected key people projects and development initiatives around the entire employee lifecycle in line with business needs and priorities. The position is reporting to the Head of HR Retail DACHCZ and can be placed in the greater areas of Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Düsseldorf or Leipzig incl. the possibility to work remotely.
Main Responsibilities :
The HR Business Partner role will collaborate with Retail Area Managers & Store Managers and support the execution of EssilorLuxottica HR programs & initiatives such as talent management, succession planning, performance management, recruiting, compensation planning, & employee relations.Bring fresh thinking to the team, support the development behind strategies, & stay focused on supporting the team & delivering meaningful results :
- Effectively prepare & coach leaders to form and maintain high-performing store teams in our EssilorLuxottica multi-brand store network in West, North & East Germany as well as Czech Republic (approx. 40 stores & 350 employees)
- Ensures retail managers have resources and are trained to execute appropriate HR practices, processes, tools& systems along the entire Employee Lifecyle (i.e. recruitment, onboarding, people development, engagement, performance management & labor law)
- Provide support on day-to-day HR initiatives & people processes to Area & Store Managers
- Consult managers & employees in German employment law related questions and secure a legally compliant way of working
- Ability to build the right culture in our organization and store network and make sure our corporate & regional people initiatives are performed with excellence and in business & employee centric way
- Visit the stores in your network on a regular basis to secure HR presence and people need analysis as well as secure that our enabling people strategy is put into practice
- Together with the HR team you lead the planning, implementation and follow-up of selected key projects and development initiatives around the entire employee lifecycle in line with business needs and priorities.
Your profile :
- At least 2-5 years of successful experience in HR Business Partnering positions within a retail organization directly working with stores
- Experience in key HR processes including compensation and benefits, talent and performance management processes.
- Solid project management skills & succesful track record of People & Culture projects & initiatives. Experience with agile methodologies is a plus
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Knowledge of change management practices and how to apply them in a large matrix organizational context.

- Analytical and critical thinking abilities
- German and English are a must (other languages are considered a plus)
