JOIN OUR TEAM
As a Retail Architect, you will be at the heart of our brand's store identity. You will develop forward-thinking, premium design solutions for our international store footprint, working closely with the Head of Store Design & Visual Merchandising and a cross-functional team. This role offers a unique blend of creative freedom and hands-on implementation in a design-driven store environment. This position is unlimited and based in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and develop architectural concepts for new stores, pop-ups, and remodels across all markets based on our store design concept.
- Translate brand identity and commercial requirements into store experiences and layouts.
- Produce technical drawings, material specifications, mood boards, and 3D visualizations.
- Lead store planning and design development across multiple store formats.
- Ensure a strong balance between creative vision and functional, operational store needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., architects, contractors).
- Support and guide the roll-out of store concepts internationally, ensuring design integrity.
- Prepare and update store design guidelines and standard detail packages; research and integrate sustainable, innovative materials and construction methods.
- Visit store sites for pre-planning, quality checks, and to supervise external partners.
YOU COME WITH
- 5+ years of experience in retail architecture, interior design, or store concept development, ideally within the premium/luxury or home & living segment.
- Strong conceptual and creative skills demonstrated through an outstanding portfolio.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Vectorworks (2D drawing mandatory), with additional skills in SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit preferred.
- Confident user of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and project phases.
- Excellent store awareness, attention to detail, and material sensibility.
- High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple store projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools; knowledge of Asana or other project tools is a plus.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
