The Personalized Medicine for Oncology (PM4Onco ) consortium, part of the German Medical Informatics Initiative, is dedicated to developing and standardizing data structures, visualization tools, and data exchange protocols to advance personalized oncology in patient care. Comprising 22 data integration centers at university hospitals, the German Cancer Consortium, and patient organizations across Germany, PM4Onco is at the forefront of innovative healthcare solutions. The University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) leads the development of visual analytics for complex Omics data, enhancing personalized diagnostics and therapy recommendations within Molecular Tumor Boards .
We are seeking a motivated researcher (PostDoc or PhD candidate) to join our interdisciplinary team at the intersection of medical informatics, data management, translational research, and patient care. The role involves advancing the cBioPortal data platform, integrating it with patient information systems, and supporting software deployment. The successful candidate will work within the Medical Systems Biology group and collaborate closely with the UKSH Medical Data Integration Center . During the project, you will have the opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree in medical informatics, bioinformatics, or personalized medicine.
