Key Responsibilities :
Lead an international team of pathologists
Maintain and expand the organization’s network within the global pathology community
Act as a Medical Director for the site in Kassel, Germany
Optimize pathology-related processes
Guide and assist teams in assay development and validation, including semi-quantitative and quantitative assays
Support and consult project management, business development teams, and clients
Evaluate clinical trial specimens
Train external pathologists on the interpretation and scoring of novel biomarkers within post-approval services
Prepare publications and posters in collaboration with customers
Position Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience) :
100% on-site role
Board certification (German board certification preferred)
Additional training in Cytology
Experience in hematopathology and / or genomics is a plus
Expertise in predictive biomarkers with a focus on oncology and immunology
Proficient in IHC, mIF, FISH, and RNA in situ hybridization to support assay development and serve as an experienced reader and consultant for clinical trials
Experience with digital imaging applications and evaluation of biomarkers using digital image analysis software
Strong team player
Willingness to work in a GCLP environment
