Ein etabliertes medizinisches Zentrum sucht einen engagierten Research Fellow / Postdoc zur Unterstützung der forensischen Psychiatrie. In dieser Rolle werden Sie an innovativen Forschungsprojekten arbeiten, die sich auf Therapieforschung und Rückfallforschung konzentrieren. Sie werden Teil eines interdisziplinären Teams, das sich der Verbesserung der Patientenversorgung widmet. Qualifikationen

The Hanseatic city of Rostock is a lively and child-friendly port city on the Baltic Sea. The University Medical Centre Rostock is the maximum care provider for the Rostock region, a growth region with great potential.

To strengthen our team in the Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry, we are looking for a research fellow / postdoc (f / m / d) with immediate effect, in part-time employment (35 hrs / week), initially limited to 17 months and remunerated according to TV-L.

You will support the expansion of research activities at the Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry of the University Medical Center Rostock; research focuses on course and therapy research, recidivism research, quality assurance and reduction of coercive measures. You will work in a multi-professional team. There is the possibility of further scientific qualification.

In detail, your tasks are:

• Acquisition of third-party funding
• Project management of studies
• Preparation of ethics applications for planned studies
• Supervision of doctoral students
• Participation in teaching in forensic psychiatry
• Independent data analysis and interpretation
• Preparation of scientific publications and lectures

Qualifications and other requirements:

• Degree in relevant subject (medicine, psychology, social sciences, etc.)
• MD or PhD in relevant subject area (completed or close to completion)
• Excellent knowledge of statistics (univariate, multivariate)
• Knowledge of relevant statistical programmes (e.g. SPSS)
• High impact factor publications
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience in applying for approvals (ethics committees, etc.) for research projects
• Experience in obtaining external funding
• Sensitivity in dealing with data
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Research experience in the field of forensic psychiatry
• Experience in collecting and analysing qualitative data
• Experience in conducting and analysing systematic literature reviews
• Experience in presenting research data at national and international conferences

The KFP is part of the Rostock University Medical Centre and thus the only correctional facility with a direct university connection.
