Your Impact
  1. Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in AI and natural language processing (NLP). Conduct research to recommend innovative solutions regarding tools and processes that can be implemented within the organization.
  2. Integrate LLM Capabilities: Design and implement software components or tools to incorporate LLM capabilities into Cerence's AI speech recognition releases.
  3. Validation and Implementation: Conduct testing and validation of ASR+NLU traditional models and LLM-based features to support deployment across various environments, ensuring high performance, reliability, scalability, and robustness in real-world scenarios.
  4. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Engagement: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into existing product releases and customer projects.
  5. Mentoring and Training: Share knowledge and expertise through training sessions and workshops, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
What you bring
  1. Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python.
  3. Experience with DevOps tools including CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
  4. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
  5. Strong understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models, including fine-tuning LLMs, implementing LLM-based agents, RAG pipelines, function and tool calling, and deploying models for real-world applications. (Preferred)
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
