Job ID 1848: Research Developer (Full Stack) - Part-time

We are seeking a Research Developer (Full Stack) to join the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at our university. This is a part-time, fixed-term position (until February 28, 2027), with 19.92 hours per week, pay group E 10 TV-L, starting as soon as possible.

The Chair of Business Administration, Information Management (IMA), focuses on managing information as a key resource for value creation in the digital age.

Your Responsibilities
  • Contribute to innovative research projects by developing mockups, prototypes, and web applications.
  • Integrate generative AI into coding processes.
  • Manage Linux system administration for research and student projects, including network setup.
  • Assist in setting up survey studies and online experiments.
  • Support data analytics tools and prepare regular reports.
  • Maintain the chair's website using the content management system (Imperia).
  • Administer collaboration platforms (SharePoint/Teams) and ensure data security.
  • Design and evaluate software and hardware concepts for research.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or similar, or vocational training as an IT specialist.
  • Proficient in at least one programming language, with willingness to learn web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP) and analytical tools (Python, R).
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and network configuration.
  • Strong skills in both front-end and back-end development.
  • Structured problem-solving approach, logical and analytical thinking.
  • Commitment to skill development and interest in business informatics research.
  • Fluent in English; willingness to learn German.
  • Reliable team player capable of working independently.
