As a Research Consultant at GIPAM, you will play a pivotal role in delivering evidence synthesis projects for global pharmaceutical clients. This includes targeted or systematic literature reviews (TLR / SLR) protocol development, screening, data extraction, reporting and conducting quantitative feasibility assessments.
Your primary responsibilities will involve :
- Day-to-day project management
- Screening
- Feasibility assessments for meta-analyses and / or indirect treatment comparisons (ITC)
- Client communication

Education, Professional Skills & Experience
- Education : Master’s degree in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience : Two to three years of prior work experience in a similar industry or consulting environment.
- Technical Expertise :
- Demonstrated experience in conducting literature reviews for peer-reviewed publications, clinical guidelines or Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions.
- Familiarity with HTA evidence generation requirements (e.g., CDA, EU JCA, IQWiG, NICE).
- Knowledge of ITC methods (e.g., Bucher ITCs, NMA, MAICs / STCs etc.)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience in hosting client calls and status updates (desirable).
- Experience in statistical programs (e.g., Stata, R) (desirable).
- Targeted literature reviews : Ability to adapt methodological steps based on the protocol to match the target audience, research questions, and scope.
- Systematic literature reviews : Proven experience in executing SLRs from screening through to reporting, following key methodological standards (e.g., Cochrane Handbook, PRISMA, HTA guidelines).
- Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and professional documents and correspondence.
- Project Management : Demonstrated ability to manage workloads and deliverables through to near-final completion, with final review by senior staff, to meet both internal and external deadlines.
- Organizational Skills : Excellent time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Interpersonal Skills : Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal team members and external stakeholders.
