Your Job

• Contribute to a pioneering pilot project in close collaboration with industrial partners, research institutions, and an interdisciplinary team
• Design, develop, and optimize a modular, containerized plant for green ammonia synthesis incorporating innovative technologies (e.g., electrolysis integration)
• Develop and assess process concepts for different reactor designs
• Evaluate process variants with respect to efficiency and operational flexibility
• Build models for steady-state and dynamic process simulation
• Plan and specify process engineering tasks and coordinate the procurement of equipment in collaboration with external companies
• Implement processes at laboratory, mini-plant, pilot, and demonstration scale
• Support the preparation of third-party funding and grant applications

Your Profile

• Master`s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems/Control Engineering (Cybernetics), Physics, chemistry, or a related field, with an above-average academic record
• Solid knowledge of thermal process engineering, reaction engineering, thermodynamics, process design, and chemical technology
• Strong interest in developing and implementing innovative technologies in close alignment with industrial partners
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to analyze complex interdependencies and work in a methodical, structured manner
• Experience with process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, Aspen, HYSYS, Honeywell UniSim, gPROMS)
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Independent yet strongly team-oriented working style
