Your Job
- Contribute to a pioneering pilot project in close collaboration with industrial partners, research institutions, and an interdisciplinary team
- Design, develop, and optimize a modular, containerized plant for green ammonia synthesis incorporating innovative technologies (e.g., electrolysis integration)
- Develop and assess process concepts for different reactor designs
- Evaluate process variants with respect to efficiency and operational flexibility
- Build models for steady-state and dynamic process simulation
- Plan and specify process engineering tasks and coordinate the procurement of equipment in collaboration with external companies
- Implement processes at laboratory, mini-plant, pilot, and demonstration scale
- Support the preparation of third-party funding and grant applications
Your Profile
- Master`s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems/Control Engineering (Cybernetics), Physics, chemistry, or a related field, with an above-average academic record
- Solid knowledge of thermal process engineering, reaction engineering, thermodynamics, process design, and chemical technology
- Strong interest in developing and implementing innovative technologies in close alignment with industrial partners
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Ability to analyze complex interdependencies and work in a methodical, structured manner
- Experience with process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, Aspen, HYSYS, Honeywell UniSim, gPROMS)
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Independent yet strongly team-oriented working style
