Jobbeschreibung

As a Research Associate (m / f / d) at Taros, you are responsible for the synthesis of organic or organometallic compounds. You independently plan and execute standard synthetic procedures under the guidance of an experienced laboratory manager.

What you can expect

  1. You support or work independently on projects or subprojects.
  2. You systematically produce results and document them in an electronic journal.
  3. Using state-of-the-art laboratories, you perform technical tasks and develop innovative approaches to achieve project goals.
  4. You independently monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and conduct general laboratory activities.
  5. You contribute to the preparation of plans, reports, SOPs, and Excel validations.

What we expect

  1. You hold a Master’s degree in chemistry with industrial experience in multistep linear synthesis, including processing, separation, and analysis (focus on organic synthesis).
  2. Experience in an organic chemistry laboratory.
  3. Proficiency with standard synthetic procedures (e.g., handling of Schlenk lines, extraction, distillation, crystallization).
  4. Accurate record-keeping in electronic laboratory journals.
  5. Good technical knowledge in analytical equipment (e.g., HPLC, MS, UHPLC, GC-MS).
  6. A strong analytical mindset with good observation and comprehension skills.
  7. Independent working initiative and effective communication skills within a team are desirable.
  8. Fluent in spoken and written English and/or German.
  9. Proficient in MS Office applications.
  10. Flexibility, reliability, motivation, and commitment to complete your profile.
