Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed lawyer to join our interdisciplinary European practice in Berlin, focusing on technology contracting, digital regulation, data protection and intellectual property law. You will support research, publish insights, and advise clients from national and international sectors.

Ideal candidates hold the First State Examination (and possibly Second) in law, have excellent English skills, and are passionate about business matters and teamwork.

• Successfully completed the First State Examination in Law or both the First and Second State Examinations in Law with above-average results.
• Interest in a longer-term position, for example alongside pursuing a doctorate.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate across offices and jurisdictions as part of an interdisciplinary team focusing on technology contracting, digital regulation, data protection and intellectual property law.
• Support the Intellectual Property, Data and Technology practice group with legal research and publications.
• Support the provision of legal advice to national and international companies, corporate groups and public-sector institutions.
• Support the procurement of complex technology solutions, including outsourcing arrangements.
• Support compliance with digital-law regulatory requirements, including the AI Act, Data Act, Digital Services Act, DORA and BSIG.
• Support data protection matters in national and international contexts.
• Support matters relating to trademark, copyright and competition law, as well as legal issues concerning the protection of trade secrets.
