The department Computational Social Science (CSS) collects digital behavioral data and provides computer-based methods for collecting and analyzing such data for social science research. It also supports scientists with the integration of digital behavioral data into their research designs. The department's research focuses on the quality of digital behavioral data, the development and validation of computational social science methods and the transformation of digital societies.
The advertised position is part of the project Jupyter4NFDI . The goal of the project is to establish and operate a basic service that provides low-barrier access to computational resources within the framework of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). The project is being implemented in collaboration with leading Tier 2 and Tier 1 scientific computing centers in Germany. Furthermore, Jupyter4NFDI is collaborating with international projects such as the MyBinder.org federation.
