A leading international research institute in Bonn is seeking a Research Assistant (m/f/div) to conduct economic experiments, clean datasets, and perform literature research. The role offers flexible working hours and the possibility of full remote work for candidates with German residency. Candidates with a strong GPA in relevant fields and some experience with statistical software are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by August 11, 2025.
With approximately 100 employees, scholars, and visiting researchers, the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods is one of more than 80 institutes of the Max Planck Society. It is an internationally oriented research institute that deals with applied, developmental, and behavioral economics, as well as market design.
The Experimental Economics Group uses experimental and observational methods to study key societal issues in behavioral, development, educational, and health economics. The group aims to identify effective interventions and to understand how preferences, social norms, and incentives influence behavior.
Starting October 1, 2025, we are looking for a
8 - 20 hours / week
The position can be fully remote as long as you have a German residency. We are flexible with hours per week and can discuss a schedule that works for both sides.
