A leading academic institution in Germany seeks a doctoral researcher within its Organizational Behavior chair. The position involves preparing a dissertation, supporting courses, and supervising students while conducting innovative research aimed at publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Candidates should hold or be near completion of an M.Sc. and possess strong research skills.
At the Chair of Organizational Behavior, we deal with the question of how top managers can lead effectively in difficult situations. This includes leadership in extreme situations such as crises and scandals, but also leadership in the everyday context of VUCA, transformation and disruptive change.
On the one hand, our research aims to be published in top international journals. On the other hand, the practical implementation of our research findings in business practice is important to us. To this end, we work on new and innovative research questions in international research groups with leading scientists from all over the world. At the same time, however, we also work with business practitioners to ensure the practical relevance of our work. In this way, we combine theoretical and practical recommendations for action in order to contribute to research, business and society at the same time.
